No one is like God. God is holy, good, and loving. Jesus shows us what God is like and gives us hope. God can make us more like Jesus. We can trust Him and live joyfully for Him.

Family Prayer:
Mornings
Praise God for His holiness. God is set apart and different from everything He has made. There is no one like God. How does God’s holiness motivate us to worship Him?
Evenings
Ask the Holy Spirit to work in your heart to know Jesus and to live more like Him. What does it mean to live as a representative of Christ? What needs to change so that your life looks more like Jesus?
Family Activities:
For Fun...
1. Turn laundry day into a game by encouraging your kids to help you “set apart” the different loads of clothing—such as whites from colors, cottons from synthetics, or whatever other attributes you use to separate clothes. Discuss the attributes of God that make Him unlike any other being. Remind your kids of ways they can be holy.
2. Give each family member a bag of different colored candies. When you say “go”, challenge each person to try to sort and count the candies by color. To play multiple rounds, pour the candy into a bowl and start again. After playing, enjoy the sweet treat and talk about the word holy. Remind your kids that to be holy means to be set apart and different from everyone around you. When we trust in Jesus, we are called to live different lives as representatives of Him.

1. Make a list of people who have set a Christlike example for your family to follow. Make an award, gift, or special surprise to give them as a way of saying thanks for their example. Remind your kids that every believer receives the Holy Spirit to help them grow more and more like Christ. Pray that your family will be a Christlike example for others to know Jesus and believe in Him.
