1. What is God’s heart toward orphans and widows? How have you benefited? Where would you be without his disposition toward orphans?

2. Not everyone is called to house an orphan (or a widow), but we’re all called to care for them. What specific way(s) can you play a part in our church caring for orphans (and widows)? What holds you back from doing so?

3. What do you think the church’s care for orphans and widows proclaim to the world? What’s the potential impact on our community?

3. How would you pursue serving and blessing non-Christians in your life differently if you more fully pressed into this reality: “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!”?
