Loving Jesus

  1. Do you regularly remember who you were and where you came from before Christ met you with His peace? How does this impact your delight in the “but nowin Christ Jesus” realities you’re experiencing?

Loving His People

  1. Which of the following two parts of the gospel has been most difficult for you to receive: 1) “we’re reconciled to God2)as a reconciled people”? What do you think will happen to our church if we minimize or dismiss one of the two?
  2. What can you do to tangibly cherish both this week?

Loving His World

  1. A.T. Lincoln said, “The church is the arena where the results of Christ’s peacemaking are to be seen. The peace gained at the cost of Christ’s death and realized in the church is to be preserved and demonstrated and to be proclaimed by the Church in the world.” Explain why this visible peace can’t be less than what’s displayed betweenfellow church members? Explain why it must also be more?
