  1. Read Philippians 3:30-21 What does it mean to say our citizenship is in heaven? How does that relate to our present earthly citizenships? *
  2. How should the promises of these verses impact our political engagement now? How might our engagement be both similar to that of non-Christians and different? *
  3. What does a “peaceful and quiet life” look like? Are you living it? How? What does the opposite of a peaceful and quiet life look like? *
  4. What’s difficult about praying for our leaders?
  5. Why is it important to distinguish who we are called to pray for and who we are called to pray to? How does getting this right in your praying change your own heart?
  6. In your voting experience, how important has the gospel mission of the church weighed into your vote. Explain.
