Text: John 15:12-17
Sermon Title:The Fruitful Life
Date: May 5, 2019
- Read Ephesians 2:8-10. What does this passage say about your identity? What does it say about your purpose?
- John 15 says that as a child of God, you are: in Christ, God’s friend, chosen by Him, sent by Him on mission to bear fruit, and that He will answer you and provide for you as you press into this calling. Do you see yourself this way? How would your life look different if you more fully embraced this reality about your identity in Christ?
- Who (one person) has God already placed in your life to lay down your life for (spouse, child, friend, family member)? How can you love them (lay your life down for them) this week?
- Who is one person that God is sending you to lay down your life for (family member, church member, neighbor, co-worker, roommate, etc.)? How, specifically, can you show preference to that person this week?
