Starting Point
Scripture refers to the church as a "household" because God dwells with His people. His people are His dwelling and He is building us together in a spiritual house. Moreover, God’s people are a family.
Starting Point (formally called “Welcome Home”) is a 4-week class introducing the values and vision of Grace Church. It is a great way for anyone to learn more about this local church and what we believe. This course is also a prerequisite for church membership for those who are at least 18 years of age.
The class is designed to help you learn more about our core beliefs and the ministries of the church, as well as give you an opportunity to ask our pastors questions. It also provides a more personal setting to get to know them, some other Grace Church leaders, and other people new to the church.
Each class includes a brief teaching by a pastor and is followed by a small group discussion and ministry time that gives you a taste of what community life looks like in our small groups.
Coffee and light refreshments, as well as childcare, are provided.
