  Text: Isaiah 63:15-64, 64:12
Sermon Title: Being in the Dark
     Date: November 29, 2020

  1. Read 1 Corinthians 3:9 and Mark 13:24-27. What common themes do you see in these passages, along with the sermon text? Why are they important themes to focus on during advent?
  2. If you were to create your own catchy advent greeting card this year, what would it say? What message would you be trying to convey?
  3. What are you longing for most this advent season? How will the return of Jesus fulfill this longing?
  4. What can you do this season to help you “sit in the dark”? How could this help you better look to and wait for His return? In what ways will you be tempted to escape, rather than wait?
  5. In what ways can we pray for God to shape you anew this month?
