- How has the Lord used specific wrongs done to you by others to do you good? Explain.
- Read Romans 12:19 and 1 Peter 2:23.
- What can we learn about how we should treat those who do injustice to us?
- What specific future “grace” does Jesus entrust to His Father?
- How does trusting God with the same thing help us act righteously with those who have mistreated us?
- In what ways do you see the Chaldeans mission statement, “More!” operating in your heart? In other words, what in your life do you frequently “just need a little more” in order to be satisfied (accomplishment, affirmation, respect, adventure, refreshment, money, intimacy)?
- What injustice(s) done to you by others are you struggling to entrust to God’s good justice? Explain. What about the nature of God’s inescapable judgment will help you do this?
- What concerns do you have about the consequences of the wrongs you have done to others?
- How is the truth that Jesus (the innocent one) has drank the cup of God's wrath for you, in your place, once and for all, meant to help you in these concerns?
- When is it best to embrace “confident silence,” intentionally putting aside your “whys” and “how longs?” for a patient and calm trust in God and His promises?
