- Can you identify with the word picture Jesus paints in these verses? Describe a time in your life when you found Christ to be a sure foundation?
- What makes you confident that you are building your house on the rock and not sand? (If you don't know, what actions/behaviors, thoughts, values, or motives has The Lord been changing over time, even ever so slightly?
- Read Revelation 19:11-16 and Revelation 20:11-15. What do you learn about the looming day of God’s Judgment? What light does this shed on what Jesus is telling us in our text this week?
- What part(s) of your life do you clearly see God’s Word impacting? Let's thank God for this grace!
- What areas of your life are more difficult to see God’s Word impacting?
- What do you think and/or feel about the storm of God’s judgment that is coming in light of this good news: if you are in Christ, you will stand in that day and you still stand until that day?
