- Read Luke 11:1. Do you feel your need for Jesus to teach you to pray? What do you want to learn from Him?
- How do you think your prayer life is going? In what specific way(s) do you want to grow in prayer?
- Jesus motivates us to prayer by our neediness. What particular need do you currently have can motivate you to prayer? Jesus also motivates us to pray by His promises. Which of His promises seem most relevant to this need?
- In your prayers, are you currently more focused on how you pray, the thing you are praying for, or the One you are praying to? What difference does this make in your prayer life?
- How can making the goal of “knowing God more” deepen or sweeten your prayer life?
