  1. Jesus came into the world to establish God’s kingdom. Read Matthew 18:3-4, 19:14, John 18:36, and Romans 14:17. From these passages, what can you tell about the nature of God’s Kingdom?
  2. Read Matthew 10:34-39. What is the purpose of God’s Kingdom?
  3. How is the purpose of God’s kingdom misunderstood by some Christians today, and what effects does their misunderstanding have?
  4. What are some practical ways you can show that Christ is your king?
  5. What evidence is there of God’s increasing rule over all aspects of your life? In what area(s) are you reluctant to give Him control?
  6. What specific ways can you fill in the blank with your own life: “Lord, may your rule increase more and more in                                                 .”
