FISD Free Meals

    11.03.20 | Events

We are thrilled to announce that Frisco ISD has just recently been approved to provide free meals this school year to students and children age 18 and younger regardless of family income. The District has received a waiver from the USDA to offer breakfast and lunch at no cost to all students, both on-campus and virtual learners, as well as to children who are not enrolled in FISD. The free meals will be available – both in school cafés and “to go” – for the duration of the 2020-21 school year.

One free breakfast and one free lunch are available per child per school day, so to-go meals may not be picked up by parents of face-to-face learners who receive free meals at school. To take advantage of this benefit, on-campus students must select a complete meal with a fruit or vegetable. To pick up “to go” meals, advance registration is required online.
