Are you more prone to view stewardship as something that minimizes or maximizes our value? Explain. How does Colossians 1:16 (all things were created through Jesus and for Jesus) confirm or challenge your propensity?
Looking back 1 Peter 4:10, what kind of gifts do you think are contained in “varied grace”? What does this mean about the stewardship opportunities we have among ourselves?
In what specific way(s) can we demonstrate to the next generation that we are stewards rather than owners (all of life isn’t all for us; all of life is all for Jesus)?

In our passage, Jesus is prompting His disciples to see that the critical factor in their faith is not its strength, but its object. How do you want this reality to impact you this Christmas season?
What common fears do you think we share? What similar false futures do they prophesize?
Who or what else out there promises you peace? Why will it never fail to fail you when it comes to giving peace? How does this effect our relationships to people and things?
